The Israeli Archaeological Association was established in 2018 in order to serve as a professional society and a representative body for the entire archaeological community in Israel. The Association is a supra-institutional, democratic organization, working to promote and strengthen archaeological activity and the status of archeology and archaeologists in Israel. The association's activities are directed both towards the archeological community, with a desire to establish broad discourse and professional collaborations and ensure the professional and social well-being of its members, and to the outside, while striving to influence policy and decision-making processes in the public arena and bring the general public closer to the rich and diverse cultural heritage of our region.
